President

Mrs. Pam Evans
Before moving to Brixham I was the professional director of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists in Londonfor 6 years; this post came after 30 years in the health service leading integrated services and with responsibility for a budget in excess of £400.000. I have had clinical case loads as well as quality and marketing experience. I am married with 2 sons, and my husband and I now run a quayside pub in Brixham; my interests include balancing the needs of a dog and 3 cats and chairing the Trawler Race Committee, as well as keeping up with the busy Soroptimist calendar.

President Elect

Mrs. Sheila Andrews
I first joined Brixham Soroptimists in 1982 but left to study and pursue my career. I worked at the Cheshire Home for 25 years, first as a nurse and finally as manager, taking the Home through the procedures to re-register as a nursing home.
In 1998 I retired from full-time work and returned to nursing as a 'bank' nurse; I also returned to Soroptimism and joined the Brixham club again. I have 2 married daughters, one of whom is also a member of Brixham Soroptimist club. |
